Our fabrics explained
SILK
We love to use silk, as it is the most premium, natural fibre. It is elegant, lightweight and with its high moisture absorption rate, fast drying. We buy all our silk from silk producers in Hangzhou, the historic centre of Chinese silk production, known as the ‘home of silk’. For us, it is an ideal fabric to wear travelling, especially in warmer and tropical climates, keeping you cool and looking stylish for those sun set soirées.
LINEN
Linen is a classic natural yarn, breathable, lightweight and refreshing. Effortlessly these fibres help to wick away moisture from your body leaving you feeling fresh. An essential fabric to keep you cool, while travelling to warmer climates.
COTTON
Soft and breathable, cotton has been used to make lightweight clothing in tropical climates for millennia. With its ability to control moisture, insulate and cool, it is another perfect travel fabric. Cotton is naturally hypoallergenic, and with its weatherproof qualities, it is essential for all of your adventures.
CASHMERE
The most opulent wool, airy light with a fine fluidity, naturally warming and moisture absorbing. Simply the finest, strongest and lightest of the wools. It naturally has anti-microbial properties that make it odour resistant, keeping you feeling fresh, and looking elegant on those airport transfers, also as it's so lightweight, it is effortless to carry.
MERINO WOOL
Known for its softness, shine and breathability. This premium wool is, insulating, moisture absorbing, with a naturally water repellent surface. Merino wool also has natural anti-microbial properties that make it odour resistant, as well as being so soft that it is often suitable for those that would normally suffer from allergic reactions. We love wearing our Merino wool to keep cosy and warm on those long flights.
TENCEL®
Biodegradable, naturally renewable, fresh and cooling. TENCEL® is made from certified sustainable eucalyptus trees. Certified at Oeko-Tex® Standard 100; this certification ensures rigorous testing and to determine environmentally friendly textiles. We love using TENCEL® as we believe responsible, renewable fabrics are the future.
